The logo is the identity of our new venture which makes our design, exercises & practice briefs available to students and enthusiasts of spatial design to further their learning.
The ‘i‘ in academi is to emphasize the relocation of the self in the learning process. The substitution of ‘A’ by its phonetic equivalent in the Devnagri script is also representative of the intended shift in narrative: academic education not center around the tutor but acknowledging the learner’s essentially autodidactic nature. Eklavya is the quintessential figure of the learner. However, he shall repay his debt to Dronacharya not by sacrificing his thumb – no matter how noble the master’s intent – but by mentoring another learner who meets him on his path.
