the dance of the pendulum

The name for our spatial design practice was derived from the sand pendulum, which is a contraption comprising of a pendulum with a pointed tip suspended over a sand bed. As the pendulum sways around, the tip pf the bob draws mesmerizing patterns on the surface of the sand.

The ‘S’ for our initials (Siddharth & Sukhmani) is drawn by an imaginary pendulum swaying to negotiate the thrills and challenges of a design practice.

The font is an as yet unnamed type that I designed about a decade and a half ago and in use for the titles of all our ventures.
